I had tears in my eyes as I read. Cancer impacts so many lives - and pancreatic cancer is one of the worst. I'm off to join the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network - maybe if enough of us join and volunteer, we can help in finding a cure in the near future for this horrible disease. What a lovely tribute to your dad and your mom. I didn't know your dad, but I count your mom as one of my dearest friends, and I agree, she's a champ. Cancer has touched our family deeply, too. My beloved grandson lost his mom to cancer two years ago -- this time colon cancer. She was only 40 when she died. It's so horrible to watch someone you love die of this awful disease.
